to bring the price down to @139.35

Similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.....has 5.5" FHD AMOLED Screen. Dual Camera in the back for Bokey effect....may be a gimmick but hey its got one. It has also got a X20 processor which is kind of good enough plus 32GB onboard storage too.
Discount code knocks down the price by £81 so this looks a real good deal to me.

Thinking of buying a Chinese phone as they look good value for money.
All the different posts is really confusing especially if the phone only accepts certain frequencies etc.

That's not a particularly helpful post. If you're not interested, don't read.

Yep. It's better for my health than spending my money on heroin, but equally addictive.

This has a better screen (AMOLED) and camera. If either of those are important, then get this. If not, the Redmi Note 4 is a great piece of kit. Either way you're onto a winner.

I have a note 4 64gb on way from Geekbuying at moment for £149 but wanted a redmi pro if it came under £150 so this is a good price.

First check out what 3g/4g bands your network uses here
The jus make sure the phone you getting uses them. I'm on three with uses Band 3 and 20 (800mhz + 1800mhz)
Alot of the Chinese phones have Band 3 (1800mhz) but few have band 20 (800mhz).
The other down sides are build quality from some of the lesser know brands, also updates to software can be no existent, and if you have an issue returns can be akward.
But you will get a more powerful phone at half the price of UK phones.
Hope this helped.

Was looking at this one below posted earlier

Looks a decent size (not to big) but not sure if I could get something better in this price range.
Any advice would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Its got the bands, and ZTE are well know and been around awhile.
The only other things are to check out general review on the phone, you tube is a big helps.
And some UK reviews on UK sites like Amazon because of below.

I was looking to get a Vernee Apollo Lite but some reviews on Amazon about it dropping signal, so even though it has the 3G/4G bands it was a no go.
Xiaomi is probebly the most bought brand, some of the phones don't have the bands but they make an 'overseas' version that does.

Some import phones will feel a bit 'different' based on the implementation of Android that they use. If you're concerned about buying Chinese and not got a great deal of experience with different phones then I'd recommend the UMI Super which runs stock Android so feels pretty familiar, but it is quite big. A good review of this device is here
