Really? I had no idea that they were scammers, will remove it if your genuine I've always liked these phones and thought it was a good deal. A lot of people have bought from them in the past and I've never known a scam report tbh.

Honor 8 is £269 that's not what I'd call a 'little extra money'.
I'd probably not argue that the honor 8 is a better phone (different price bracket so it should be) but 100 times better - really?
As for Banggood being scammers, how about posting some evidence, if there is some truth in this it needs to be shared as there are still Banggood deals being posted.

There's no global rom for this phone therefore I'm going to until its released. Otherwise it looks a good build for the money with the dual camera.

Lol, guys, don't get crazy ;) If you absolutely want the hottest Redmi-offer of the moment, get this Redmi 4 pro (3Gb version - better processor) for ~160 at this store: http://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_563920.html

Does this one have a global ROM?

No global rom at the moment, no LTE band 20 / 800. Much better display, over 450+ pixel density instead of ~260sth... Better processor. The deal was about 128 £. You can find the new redmi4 in that range, if you keep scanning major asia stores. Now, the price went up again. I'm pretty sure you'll see redmi 4 prime left and right very soon, as some people wait for the international or for the 4s version (maybe spring?)
Check if the specs are worth it, I took the redmi 3s int, which you can find every week on sale.

Which Redmi phone are you confusing this deal for if you think it has a ~260sth pixel density? The Redmi Pro has a 1080p screen. It is ~401PPI and the only reason the Redmi 4 Prime has a higher PPI is due to a smaller 5" screen. A 5" 1080p screen is 441PPI, not "450+". The Redmi Pro is the only Redmi to have an Amoled screen, whereas all the rest are LCD. Amoled screens are meant to offer more accurate colours and better contrast. The only other Xiaomi phone to have Amoled is one of their flagships, the Mi Note 2.

As for "better processor". The SD625 in the Redmi 4 Prime is an Octa-core 2.0ghz whereas this version of Redmi Pro has the MTK X25 Deca-core 2.3ghz. The Redmi 4 Prime with SD625 has an antutu score in the 62k range. The base model Redmi Pro with the lower X20 2.1ghz scores in the 83K range. The higher end X25 scores 90K+. SD processors as a whole might be better than MTK, but the Redmi Pro still has the more powerful processor.
