Bruges is a lovely place to visit and the hotel selected is within walking distance of the town centre - so nice and easy to explore the city and to indulge in the Xmas markets. You need to book the Eurostar (£69 return pp http://www.eurostar.com/UK/uk/leisure/latest_deals/lbbd/spring_break.jsp) and the hotel through this link to get this price. The medieval city of Bruges is a magical setting for your Christmas shopping. Wrap up warm, wander beside the canals and along cobbled streets, and explore Bruges's Christmas market stalls. Pick up last minute gifts, decorations and chocolates, and speed round the ice-rink in Markt Square.

Have stayed there a few times, it is an overnight hotel for tour coach trips going further afield , so beware if one of those turns up, also it might be used for xmas coach trips so you may have a noisy lot turning up ;-) . Also it is quite a walk into the centre from the hotel as it is in a residential area, with nothing to look at on the way, also at night I found it a very dark journey walking back to hotel. So a taxi advised.

If it is, I'm sorry but I failed miserably at the mind reading exam.

It's from In Bruges. Uttered by Colin Farrell.

And it was quite a funny post if you know the film well.

Yes the quote was from 'In Bruges' as spoken by Colin Farrell. Sorry thought it would be more widely recognised.

Looks like a very cool place to go for an Xmas trip.

Not at all. I'm a new poster so can quite easily see why my comment would be misinterpreted.
