Back down to black Friday price, been waiting for a deal for a while.

I'm moving from a nexus 5x, would love the pixel, but at £600, I can't justify it. At £300 this seems a bargain.

Another option is to get the better spec'd Xperia X for £299.99 from Amazon. http://amzn.eu/bs66AVj

Love Sony but they seem to be the only company that took a great selling flagship compact phone in z5 compact and made it worst the following year...well and HTC for a few phones until the 10

From what I can tell the specs are very similar, and I fancied a 4.7" phone again.
Although to be honest, I'd not seen it the X at this price, if I had I might've considered it more!

Yeh I've read a lot of people say that, it'll be my first Sony, and on paper it looks great. It is a shame theyve lost the waterproofing and adding a slower processor, but there a few nice improvements too (USB C is a big one for me coming from 5X).

Do you need to sign up to O2 contract for that though?

Yes, you do. Then you need to pay off the device and cancel the contract during the 14 day cool off period. Another downside is that it probably comes with o2 branded firmware..

I will be as honest I as possibly can be here, I was going to purchase this handset but the fact it is not waterproof and dust proof, I didn't buy it and bought a Z5 and honestly it is the best phone, I have owned...from Samsung, HTC, Apple and then finally purchased this phone :) No regrets

Well I bought this deal. And for anyone who wondering, the phone is brilliant (if you're after a 4.7" android at least).
Some notes:
It's faster than my old 5X. To move around apps, and take photos etc.
The battery is great, it lasts from 8am to past 11pm with my usual very heavy usage.
You can customise everything, so I've stripped it right down to the stock Android, (Google launcher etc.)
The lower resolution screen is not noticeable.
Very happy!
