Uses slower DDR2 Ram though, more for memory-intensive 3D applications, less for gaming I would imagine

Not a good deal, slow DDR2 which makes having 1GB of RAM even more pointless.

Get a 512MB DDR3 version for £50 odd. It'll perform better.
