Looked at this earlier, plus delivery though.
£19.56..better if you buy more

Good price if you're buying somthing else to get free delivery - would be good to show the delivered price and vendor in the deal title :)
#3
Good price!

Everyone out there this ram will fit the new EEE PC's from Asus and yes I know Xandros will only recognise 1Gb but there are ways for it to recognise the full 2Gb

It will also fit the Acer LXXX series Small form factor multimedia pc's

I think that's the first time I've ever seen Ebuyer sell Crucial memory for less than buying direct from Crucial. But, I know who I'd trust to send me the right stuff first time - and it's not Ebuyer!
#5
Does anyone know how do they compare to Corsair same PC2-5300 2gb?
#6
Have just bought for my acer L100. Thanks!!!
#7
PC World pricematch, anyone?

EDIT - PC World don't sell Crucial so no :(
#8
Can the OP and title not be edited to include postage?
#9
What happened to adding postage costs to the price.

20% shipping discount»(with Royal Mail) Shipping Charge: Subtotal: Total:
£2.58 £16.64 £19.56

Isn't it cheaper to get the £17.99 kingston 2GB DDR2 at play.com ?

Depends whether you want the cheapest laptop memory or the cheapest laptop memory that will work. You can probably find cheaper on Thiefbay but the odds are that it is going to be poor quality unbranded and not have a worthwhile warranty. If you want to save a few pounds, go ahead and buy it.

This, though, is almost certainly the cheapest decent quality memory around.
#16
Cheap decent memory then I may as well go for it. Do these generally fit most notebooks, not got my manual handy?

Crucial tells me that I can only have a max of 1GB per module and 2GB overall. I have two 512MB modules already in, so I guess I can't really grab this :(
#18
Is this a worthwhile upgrade for an Inspiron 9400 running 2Gb Ram (533)? Threads I've read suggest that 2Gb may be the max and also something about the max bus speed being less than 677 (though other parts of the computer being able to make use of it).

My level of knowledge is way below that needed to make sense of it all so advice would be appreciated.

You could replace the existing modules with these. You'd probably get £5 to £10 back on Ebay for the pair of 512MBs. If you're running Vista, you might notice some improvement but probably not much different if you've got XP.

Almost certainly not worth it if you already have 2Gb.

I have Vista. Is this a pair of 2GB modules then rather than one 2GB module?

if you buy a pair that would be 4gb and obviously better than 2gb, not taking into account that they are dual.

I realise this has now expired but I'd like advice anyway as there are similar deals around. I was wondering whether it was worth buying a pair given memory's so cheap at the moment. Currently I have 2 X 1Gb 533 and I also have a Sandisk Extreme III 2Gb in my SD card slot running readyboost.

Any advice welcome.
