Use the £2 off £20 spend to get this.
Kazuma and Haruka, having severed their ties to the Yakuza world, have left Kamurocho to seek a new life in Okinawa where they manage an orphanage for children. However, their peaceful life is soon interrupted when a series of events unfold pulling Kazuma back into the shadowy past he thought he had left behind, in order to protect those he loves.

Making its first appearance exclusively on PS3, the rich story and vibrant world of Yakuza 3 lets players engage in intense brutal clashes within the streets of Okinawa, and the vibrant and often dangerous city of Tokyo where only the strongest will survive.

* Tokyo and Okinawa are rendered with stunning accuracy
* Play a variety of minigames including billiards, karaoke or even take in a game of golf
* Engage in a variety of real-life activities from buying items in licensed shops and businesses to eating in restaurants you can find on actual streets of Tokyo
* Seamlessly transition into intense fights more brutal than ever before
* Gain fighting experience by training with teachers, getting "heavenly inspiration" or by remembering new moves from previous battles

Hot price, awesome game. AFAIK Sega will only consider localising Y4 if this one sells. Hint hint!

The HK and Korean versions should have English and Korean/Chinese subtitles on them.

Check it before you order though.

Personally, I might consider buying this when it is £10-15 otherwise I'm not really fussed. I wish Sega would concentrate their efforts on making Shenmue 3 rather continuing this series. It doesn't even have that huge a following in Asia.

I agree completely. It was supposed to be a trilogy and yet it they never finished it...come on Sega, stop making rubbish Sonic spin offs and give us what we want-more Ryo!

SHENMUE! Haven't heard of that game title in years! (Shenmue 2 was the bomb haha)
Was there any news of a come back?

Voted Hot, but wish it was cheaper so I could actually buy it ;)

Arg..it seems that I can't find any HK version with Eng sub..lol..the Yakuza 3 is very good game..as I do enjoy fishing and pool on the games..lol

There are odd things mentioned about Shenmue III here and there but they never actually lead to anything other than Ryo turning up in that Allstars racing thing.

It would be nice if they could just port the first game to XBLA, I would definitely consider paying 2100 points for that.

Are you sure? Because it's pretty rare for a game to be released in HK in JP only unless it's something like Ikaruga or a simple platformer type thing.

As far as I know HK/TW/KR versions are all JAP verison + localized package, discs are exactly the same including the disc ID - i.e. DLCs are compatitable across these versions

Some exceptions are GOW3, Uncharted 1&2, they do have Chinese+English subs in HK version

It is very rare for a Japanese game maker to create a special edition of a game just for a small area like HK - which is smaller than London!

HK and Korean versions do not have English subtitles.

This game is huge in Japan and better than Shenmue, awesome game and series.

Funny that since I have around 15 HK PS3 games and a shed load of HK 360 games on the other side of the room that I'm currently sat in which all suggest otherwise.

Yakuza is a funny one because it isn't fully localised outside Japan and is only subtitled but for the most part the HK/Chinese versions will carry an English and Chinese soundtrack and Korean games will generally be in either English and Korean or Japanese and Korean.

This game is bigger than Shenmue was in Japan only because of it's PlayStation format and the 3rd and 4th itterations have sold far worse than the previous two because they were both on the PS2. In Akihabara last year when I was there, new and pre-owned copies of this for were available in abundance and were fairly cheap compared with most of the other PS3 and 360 titles of the same genre.

Shenmue failed because of it's massive budget and the fairly low user base of the Dreamcast at the time. Few would argue that both Shenmue I and II aren't infinitely better than Yakuza though.

Incorrect, HK is that important a market that it even has it's own edition of the PS3 and is generally considered to be a more important market than Korea. Don't forget that they tend to group China with HK though, usually referring to HK as 'Asia' region.
