Bought this alarm a month or so ago for £199.99, now reduced by 20% and then a further 15% because you're spending over £50. It's a good alarm that's easy to install and has some good reviews as you'll see.

I bought another one instore for a relative, not sure if you get 15% off online.

Anyone know if this is a pet-friendly version, such as the HSA 6400P?

No idea why people are voting this cold - it's a cracking price. At least £50 cheaper than most other retailers and security/alarm companies. Hot deal, foolish cold votes.

It comes with 2 standard PIRs but you can buy pet friendly PIRs and add them to the system. From memory, you can add 20 devices.

Like this is going to stop a thief. If this will stop someone breaking in then your better of just buying a ADT external alarm box off Ebay to do the same thing. If it doesnt and they still breakin then they simply dont care about an alarm, so whats the point! Not knocking the Price.

Premium includes 2 PIRs, 2 magnetic Door contacts, Keypad and 1 Siren.
I added an extra Siren, extra Key fob, extra Door Contacts and extra mini Keypad (by main entry) - basically bought another Standard alarm kit and learned everything with the Premium Kit.

Really HOT price for the premium kit :)

Indeed, any alarm is simply a deterrent for any would be theifs. If they do break in and set the alarm off, this model can be set to call you to make you aware the alarm has been activated as well as sounding the alarm to alert neighbours (it's possible to delay the siren too). Or, if you're at home sleeping with the alarm set to home armed, it'll alert you that someone's broken in.

Would an ADT external alarm box of ebay do that for you? (I'm assuming you mean a dummy box?)

Got this for £100 in the summer and its on my house now - so this is not a particularly good price overall, but unless there are cheaper out there now then its a decent price at this time.

Easy enough to set up and works very well.

@ alexandercooper..... you could say the same thing about having a security guard in your spare bedroom, landmines in your front lawn, an rotweiler in the back garden and bars on the windows... if a thief wants to get in and comes well enough prepared then he will get past anything you can throw at him...

Most thieves are thick as sh*t and not well prepared though so this alarm will be fine unless you are protecting the crown jewels. Its all about making your house less appealing than the house next door so that he robs them and not you.
