According to the picture and the reviews, this is the HSA-6200 series wireless alarm which sells for £89.00 at Screwfix , £104.99 on Amazon.

I've had one of these for 18 months and it's been faultless. Despite the few mediocre reviews, these are very easy to set up compared to others.

The remote sensors alone (PIRs) cost about £20 on ebay and the system is able to accommodate extra sensors or bell boxes if ever required.

Total bargain. I would definitely buy this if I didn't already have one.

Are the 3 AAA batteries for the keypad or the alarm box,if they are for the alarm box how long would they last?

Ahh Tesco up to their old tricks again. Selling burglar alarms while stealing your money for a few days... the irony :)

Surely a miss-price. Should get a refund in a few days :) HOT HOT HOT

The alarm box takes 4 D cell batteries.

I have yet to change mine and they were installed 1.5 years ago.

Only had to change PIR batteries and the sensor on the main entry door so far probably to being used more than the others. Less than 5 min job to change them.

I gave in and ordered an extra one. I might use the extra sensors on the other as it must be cheaper getting them this way.

I've reported them once to Advertising Standards but the reply was that they couldn't do anything because they believed the reason the goods were out of stock was probably because they had sold them all because of the excellent prices...

Hot deal based on the price - but personally I wouldn't trust one of these at all.

Wired is always better and if you are remotely bothered about the security, its worth the extra work. Or just buy a blank box - its cheaper!

HOT...
ordered for sensors only! Already have the Yale family HS6400 alarm installed, Additional PIR sensor cost about £20-£25 each if you were to order. so a bargain if it gets through.

Maybe it was fate, but when we installed one of these we actually got burgled!. Maybe they thought there was something worth pinching after the alarm appeared! lol
