I've just put one of these up in our new home. They are a brilliant bit of kit. Great to be able to check while at work that the alarm is on. Tested the notifications out to when the alarm is triggered and works really well.

I was gonna buy this one from costco buy thinking this might be a better deal

Just installed mine, seems to work fine. I have some extra PIRs and door detectors arriving soon to kit out the whole house.

The components weren't pre-linked but pretty easy to link together.

Does anyone know how to change the keypad code for keypad setting from 0000 to a new code (this is different to the alarm deactivation code which as default is set to 1234),

Not through the app?

Not that I can see. Yale support being a bit vague - they state that there is no such thing as "keypad code for keypad setting" despite this being in their instructions

Figured it out. It was in the instructions for a different alarm on the Yale website.
