Nice receiver.
I've got the older RX-V667, but this is well thought of.

Great amp! I bought this earlier this year and managed to wangle a deal out of Richer Sounds that made it about £300 (it was retailing at £349.95). Bargain at £249.95 (if you can actually find any left).

Great amp at a bargain price, I paid
£450 for it not long after it came out and I'm not disappointed

I have this amp, great little receiver, got it hooked up with some nice Tannoy speakers.

Hotpot, hotpot, hotpot ;)

Heat added.

Been looking for a few months now for a good deal. This looks good to me, but I'll be honest I don't have much knowledge on compatible speakers. Could anyone recommend a good set to go with this that won't break the bank?

Question AV Buffs Can You HELP? , I am presently shopping around for a AV Receiver, as my present Philips 3D Blu-Ray 1000w All-In-One Home Entertainment Systems Blu-Ray Player is now dead... However I do love the 3D Angled Speakers & Subwoofer the unit comes with, but they have special Philips Adapter on the end of the speaker cables, I got a pin and can see I can remove the adapters, could I simply use these existing speakers in the AV unit or do you recommend I buy new speakers? Thanks.

I'm far from a buff, however my understanding is that since this requires an active (powered) Subwoofer your existing set won't be compatible. similar to my question above you will require a new set of speakers.
