First deal so be gentle

The Yamaha RXV667 is one of the finest AV receivers in its class.

With a fulsome spec, including 3D compatible HDMI sockets, the RXV667 has everything required to satisfy the AV enthusiast. At the heart of this receiver is 7.1 processing. This not only gives you the option of using additional surround sound speakers for an even more enveloping sound, but also the chance to assign the amplifiers for bi-amping, instead. Essentially this means using two of the built-in amplifiers to run your front speakers rather than just one; giving better control with a tighter, more focused sound the result.

Just been reduced for even a better deal, Reserved one myself to pick up tomorrow. Bare in mind that this was originally £450.

I was going to risk it by waiting till after christmas. But really want this amp and don't want to lose it.

you also need to factor in VAT raising to 20% in the 1st week of Jan, so price might go up

Great price and people on AV forum have been saying that they might go back to £450 after the current stock from Yamaha are sold.

Gives me some more cash spare towards my Cambridge Audio Minx's

Seems hot. Look like a serious bit of kit! What speakers would people use with this?

Well i've currently got Silver series Monitor audio floorstander for front left and right. Am going to purchase Cambridge audio minx's for centre and rears. Then when have some spare cash will purchase 2 more minx's for the 7.1 and a sub.
