amazing price

Note it's 120watts @ 4Hms which as I understand it means only 60Watts on 8ohms speakers which most, well mine at least are.
#3
How does this compare to pioneer vsx919ah ?

Scorching

I'd prefer black but if you prefer titanium then you're laughing

4 HDMIs -just what the doctor ordered.

Fancy this but I've never heard of "Home AV Direct". Anyone had experience with them? :)

Yeah, ordered some Bose speakers from them over Xmas, got them yesterday, CS not good, lying left, right and centre, were a bargain though, saved £250 on the RRP :)

Holy moo cow it does HD audio too for that money! Shame it's not black or I'd buy one.

Just noticed it is 3D ready too!!

hi guys i'm looking for an av receiver to link my ps3, xbox, and sky up to and this looks like a decent buy.
what speakers would you recommend, i don't need anything flashy just something to do the job
#9
If your looking for some decent speakers then try some Jamo a102's. They have been on hot uk deals before and the sound they produce is amazing . Not to expensive either.

Fantastic price for a great entry level amp that is packed full of features. Seriously worth considering at this price.

Amazing price! I bought the RXV367 for the same price, the V467 has HD audio whereas mine is missing that.

Hot!

Just for the fun of it:

Ten minutes ago I ordered a RXV567... that's right... a 5 67... for a total of 74 pounds including delivery...

Sadly, it's not going to be honored... See here:

It was worth a try though!

I was going to buy the 667 a few weeks ago from Richersounds..

Money in hand.. Item reserved at store.. All set..

Then night before i noticed a 467 going for cheap, brand new condition and all it’s bits.. Snapped it up for £155.

It forced me to look at the main differences, as the essentially pump out the same sound.

Here they are:

- 667 has a second zone

Not required me for, most never tend to use this.

- 667 has an onscreen display

It’s a nice feature, a much better OSD than any other manufacturer has.. However.. My RX-V565 has a simple OSD, i’ve only ever used it once when setting up the AV Receiver.. Never again..

When i received the RX-V467, i set it up and haven’t touched any settings since.. So an OSD is kind of pointless, since setting up on the AV Receiver screen took all of 5 minutes.

- 667 has 7.1

My RX-V565 is 7.1, i put a 7.1 Q Acoustic 1010i setup in the lounge.

The difference between 5.1 and 7.1 is so marginal, it’s hardly worth having 2 extra speakers.. No to mention, there is very little true 7.1 content out there currently.

- 667 has 6 HDMI ports (467 has 4).

While the 667 does have 6 HDMI ports, it only really has 5.. Since one of them is on the front of the AC Receiver. No self respecting chap is going to want HDMI cables handing out from the front of their AV Receiver, it would look horrific.

Personally, i have no need for any more than 4 HDMI ports.. Xbox 360, SkyHD, 3D Bluray Player, Media Centre PC...

- 667 can upscale

My RX-V565 can do this, never used it.. Don't think i'm ever going to need it.. So really not required..

Overall:

I'm chuffed i spent £150 on the 467 and not £300 on the 667, which has a whole host of features that myself and most other people are never going to use.

Hi, Is it worth paying extra £35 for 567? need advice pls.

Hi I got a pair of TANNOY MERCURY F3 recently http://www.superfi.co.uk/index.cfm/page/moreinfo.cfm/Product_ID/1838
they are 140W I will never be listening that loud even if I got this 120W amp. if I did get this amp so will not having the extra 20W effect my speakers performance on lower volumes? I know its a dumb quistion but gotta check :)
Also is koalauk correct? Is it really 80W per speaker?
I have a Camberage audio amp at the moment that only 40W. Its not bad, I'm just wondering if I get a new amp like this one will my music sound better? If I get a HD sound card will my mp3s sound any better?
Cheers
