go to http://www.quidco.com and register. Then search for bestBuy in store search. Click the link to go to BestBuy and purchase goods.

A few hours/days later you will see a BestBuy amount track in your account. this then gets verified by BestBuy and paid to Quidco, who then pay the money to you.

Thats it pretty much :)

Any known HTCP problems with this? My Onkyo is being a pain with my new telly and sky box, having to switch things on in a certain order to get it to work

No.Won't be happening any time before 2014

Thanks OP I've ordered one to replace my ageing Denon AVR-1707. Looking forward to experiencing some HD audio, and having the HDMI switching will simplify my setup!
#19
Nice spec and price but pretty ugly looking - maybe better in black. Heat given anyway.

Took to the plunge and brought one. I was waiting for the 667 to go down from £250 at Richer Sounds to replace my 10 yr old Sony amp but I'm sure i've made the right decision.
#23
wasnt worth me paying the extra for the rx667 (i cancelled so there might be 1 in stock)

ive got all my speakers layed out ready to plug in gonna be a massive improvment for me as my tv speakers are poo!
#24
thanks OP -Good deal!
#25
All arrrived?

Anyone know where the remote control receiver is on the unit?
#26
Got it all set up now and i'm very impressed. Was replacing an Onkyo with major HDCP issues
#27
Yep got mine delivered and set up on Monday. Replaces a 5 year old Denon. I think it's quite good looking actually, certainly compared to my old 1707.

The automatic level setup with the microphone is a lot more thorough than with the Denon, and needed less tweaking afterwards.

Tested it with Saving Private Ryan on Blu-ray, very impressive using the HD audio track.

IMO this unit's an absolute bargain!

I have the jammo A102HCS5. They sound very nice, although if I had the room I would have gone for something a liitle bigger. For they size they are awesome.

I have an old Sony dcs player with built in amp which came with surround sound speakers.

Will my speakers be compatible with this? How can I check?

Thanks

Your main speakers should probably work fine, however your subwoofer may not. If it is passive (not powered separately and connected with normal speaker wire) you'll need to upgrade it.

I originally upgraded from a Pioneer all-in-one systems to a Denon 1707, to this Yamaha. I still use the small Pioneer speakers for rear speakers as they're non-intrusive. You can use all 5 and upgrade the fronts at a later date.
