Bought one for myself (the 42inch version of this one)before World Cup and am really happy with the picture quality(both football and movies look amazing) and the money I saved. My friend bought e premium 3D LG LED last year and after watching some TV at my house was going to go buy plasma as a monitor for his pc. He was really disappointed when he found that they have been discontinued,

Yeah, they do give a sharp picture, but from my experience, plasmas seem to have a short lifespan. Our living room TV is on about 16 hours a day every day and so, another plasma is definitely out of the question.

dont forget you need to re-gass them every few years ;)

I had my heart set on this as my sister's TV has went kerplooie but definitely missed the boat. Guess the 42" is the only option now. A nice assistant at Tesco checked a multitude of local stores though, which was nice of him :)

If you are looking for a 50" loulou, may, as in might have another coming up soon, just waiting on my googoogadgetz to finish looking for todays goodies! It will not be *as* cheap, but think it will be as big!

Been too busy buying stuff on the hukd M&Mdirect thread to post any!!! :D

Cheers 008, isn't it typical that a TV (my sister's) dies just after Xmas :) I'll keep my eyes peeled. Maybe I can hunt down the last few 50" Panny plasmas yet :)

Always the way loulou, like Ye Olde London Red Buses, never one, then 3 at a time!

Still got 2 of the 2013 50" Panasonic £200 HUKD ones in an office setup, to this day, never had one issue displaying marketing videos on them remotely, they are on 6 days a week, 18 hours a day, got back into Toshiba again recently as they are making some good panels again for the price.

They are indeed Loulou and well done for being so eagle eyed! Glad you got sorted and got one in the end, my other 2 hukd threads [found by my googoogadgetz] went OOS super quick, sure this will again too! [less than 30 in stock this time!] x

I did have a 42" on backorder from argos (wasn't coming for another 2 weeks), cancelled that, jumped on this. Would be mad not to! Yours was the thread I saw first, so thank you in return :) An added bonus is that delivery is free and the 5 year guarantee promotion over 32" is still on.

Delivery is much sooner with Tesco, too, got it booked for Friday :):D:D Happy happy joy joy x

There's definitely double figures in stock, tried to add 99 and it worked. So, plenty left.
