What just happened? The haters all congregated on this thread or something?

A simple 'hot' or 'cold' would have sufficed.

The deal says Monday to Friday btw. Just checking you'd seen...

A friend tried this last night. They said there were less than 10 of the sale items on the belt the entire night, and that they were told they would be charged full price for any of the others being made to order. So unfortunately cold.

Love yo sushi! West fields selection doesn't seem as good as it use to be I try and go the south bank one sometimes if it's quite they let you order and still charge you £2.50 :)

I also miss sumo Sundays! They were great! Haha

is it at every restaurant, even London? Got one just around the corner from work...

Yo lost its edge many years ago when they dumped the robots that served drinks! In London go to Misato in Wardour St or Mai Sushi in Euston for the best cheap Japanese in town.

Yo is great for kids to try out dishes, if you are in London this place is understated but very good: http://www.andazdining.com/miyako/default-en.html

There is Blue Mondays in belfast which all those plates are £2.50. We were there this week!

Oh yum overpriced cat food

Truth: similar to some other types of oriental food, the most popular ones are always not that authentic. Because they have to alter the flavour, cooking methods, presentations etc to meet local people's appetite.

Once again Yo Sushi advertise two promotions which conflict with each other, saying both are valid on their website - Blue Mondays (website still says Offer available every Monday) and January Sale and both promotions contain different dishes - Specifically January Sale does not include Tofu Katsu Curry (a vegetarian dish) which Blue Mondays does. I stopped going to Yo Sushi as its too confusing with conflicting promotions like this, and it depends on what staff are working as to whether you would get the Blue Monday dishes at £2.50 while other promotions were on. They really should state clearly whether or not other promotions take precedence over other promotions. Voted cold and I eat at Wasabi now which is also a lot cheaper than Yo Sushi (even during promotions!)

Holy Jebus. It's not gourmet, but it's fast, fun and of a decent quality.

I have to walk past yo sushi to get to House of Frazer and I have to hold my nose the smell is enough to put anyone off

House of Fraser doesn't smell that bad!

Why was my comment about Yo Sushi! not serving Halal food removed?

Even food labels are going to state if the food is Halal or not, I think a moderator is getting too scared of offending someone! There was nothing offensive in what I said, I merely stated that it wasn't halal!
#26
rubbish sushi. I've tried it once and refuse to go back. if you think their sushi is decent then obviously you have never tried proper sushi.
#27
Offer NOT valid at YO! Sushi: Heathrow T2, Heathrow T3, Gatwick Airport, Edinburgh Airport, Paddington Station, St Pancras Station, Westfield White City, Westfield Stratford, London Harvey Nichols, London Selfridges, Birmingham Selfridges, Manchester Selfridges and Belfast.

If you're in Central London go to any of the Atari Ya branches. They are wholesalers primarily, but doing so they also cut out the middle man and make competitively priced, fresh sushi.
The Super Chirachi bowls are generous and more adventurous than anything at Yo!

The Acton one is my fave. The manager can cut you 200g of salmon with his eyes closed.

Excellent. I wonder if student discount works on this as well )

I think they either misunderstood or were not told clearly. I don't think they realise you can order all the sale items that are part of it from a waiter, and you will be charged £2.50. You don't just sit there waiting for one dish, you'd be there all day. :) You have to order the hot items from a waiter too.

If you order ones that aren't part of the sale, you are obviously charged full price.

Unfortunately not, yo sushi never really combines promotions.

Big thank you for unfresh food
I thought they make everything fresh?
#35
Not a bad price but there are much better independent sushi houses to be found. Yo Sushi - BORING!
#36
Does this include pure sashimi dishes?

Cold from me, as don't agree with the way it is served on conveyor belt..
#37
It states in the terms and conditions; off the conveyor belt only.

So orders made are full price. Which is ridiculous. Cold from me.
