you'd get chucked out of my gym if you wore gloves , nowt wrong with ripping the calluses from your hands whilst deadlifting .Man up ;)

As for fitness first type gyms, don't get me started hahaha.

man up and get chalk. if your gym doesn't allow chalk, get liquid chalk. Your grip will thank you.

madcap is right liquid chalk is the best if your lifting heavy weights especially when you are doing dead lifts, these gloves are great if your beginner in the gym or if your too used to gloves I prefer these you get a better grip than other weight lifting gloves.

got a pair. no way as good as my golds gym gloves but for 1.99 cannot complain at all.
Will be using them for ... driving!
