Sounds pretty good for £50, looking at the reviews the web strapping doesn't seem that great on them though as two that bought it out of the 8 reviews snapped.

It looks exactly like the York one I used to have years ago. Horrrid horrid horrid thing. it had a horrible rough action with tension which wasn't even across a stroke.

I also found it hard to get my heart rate up with it and no matter how I tried almost all the work was done by my legs, that said it may be that I would have had the same experience with any other rower. I prefer my excercise bike which I, ahem, occasionally use, that's a point must do some laundry.......

Had one of those once, and a sit- up bench, and now an air-walker, find the latter really handy for hanging the kids school bags on.

LOL:-D

Probably better to get one with a wheel with either air or magnetic resonance - these will give much smoother action.
Although they will cost quite a bit more than this, you can usually pick exercise equipment cheap second hand and often barely used. That way, when the novelty wears off you can sell it on and not be out of pocket :)
Dave.
