Order this one for £7.34, when it turns up stick the Argos label on it and take it back to Argos for a £25 refund. Sorted.

HOT - thanks OP !

thanks op and ordered... have a few bars /weights in my garage and with two or three of these bars you can have them pre loaded with weights and do drop sets one after the other.... the burn/pump is incredibly painful but a few weeks of doing this type of training etches some nice detail in your hard earned muscles

I know what you mean, they are supposed to be equipped with the rubber washers, this is supposed to prevent them coming lose, however i have the same problem even with the washers, best idea is just to tighten them after every set...

or complain to the makers... lol.
#33
put 2 rubber bands either end, aslong as you have pre loaded bars and don't need to change the weight for every set its a godsend.
#34
125kg maximum load...I deadlift that already. Guys if you're planning on using this for heavy compound lifts I would get something stronger. Fine for your bench, curl, ohp however. Bros.
#35
Cheers, good to have one spare at that price.

I wouldn't put 125K on a bar like that.

They're OK for things like drop sets with pre-loaded bars, or for exercises with not significant weights on (ie so NOT heavy compounds like bench press, squat or deadlift).

Nobody (hopefully) buys a 5ft non-olympic bar to do heavy deads with.

Thanks for share - ordered one too.
