Can you control what is displayed on the rear screen? Would be great to put the Kindle app on the rear, for example
Yes you can swap what's on the AMOLED Screen to the back screen in a flick of your finger, it's really quite impressive.

Read the smallprint.
I am sure it used to say 'if we can get the funds out of the seller account'.
Now I think it says something 'we may refund you, whatever we decide you are bound by our decision'.
Who knows if it means the same, though with that new wording it sounds like it could be positive spin for the exact same.
And you think Visa automatically issue refunds do you?...
They give you protection as long as you've qualified under the rules.
Anyway the phones are on their way now so it's irrelevant.
Have you had yours yet? mine seems to be stuck in Germany!
Yes delivered this Aft. Went from stuck in Germany to Parcelforce to delviery in about 12 hours.

Finally arrived and I have to say I'm very impressed! Love the e-reader back screen and the AMOLED Screen is pretty good too. Decent volume from the speaker, seems snappy enough and the shape even with the optional bumper I ordered fit in the hand very well.

Just a shame the missus likes it too and has taken it off me already so my play time with it was short lived....

Yotaphone 2 :: Two screened phoned with e-ink display on the rear :: reduced from 359 to 279.00

This phone was around 600 earlier this year. Overpriced for what it was but 279 is a lot more reasonable. It has an e-ink display on the back and looks like quite an interesting phone.

Yeah I do realise megapixels only tells part of the story and specs such as aperture are more relevant. Apple used 8mp sensors up to the iPhone 6.

Most reviews of the yotaphone 2 say it has a bad camera so it looks like they have just thrown in a cheap part.

I really like the idea of this phone. It's disappointing that companies such as Samsung are not taking a chance with doing something with e-ink. Instead, they think adding a pointless edge to a phone is worth an extra £100.

Only thing that disappoints me with this is the camera. I am surprised they didn't go with something better. If cheap Chinese companies can add 13 and 16 megapixel sensors in their devices, I don't see why they had to go with an 8 megapixel one in this phone. A camera is an important feature of a smartphone so it's kind of strange that they went for a low to mid range spec for it.

I do, however, love the concept. :)

it depends more on the quality of the camera and not the amount of megapixels...i use to have an old 4mp sony phone that its camera was miles better than the 8mp and some 13mp chinese cameras. The cameras on most chinese phones are rubbish.
