"Makes 40 pints of delicious pub style beer in just 21 days. Contains equipment and ingredients to start brewing. Just add sugar and water. Perfect gift idea".

I went to buy one of these kits in Wilkinsons on Saturday and half of the kits on their shelves had an extra 40 pint pack included (making 80 pints total).

The Wilkinsons price on this item is good anyway, but with the extra 40 pint pack (that normally costs £10.48 by itself) included at no extra charge, I thought the deal was worth posting here. The kits with the extra pack have a sticker on.

Great if you want cloudy warm flat beer.

The sign of a perfect homebrew :whistling:. Doctors should prescribe this to all males over 40, not much alchohol content, and two pints a day will keep you regular! ;-)
I love the stuff:-D

Kit is cow ****... but as a starter kit to learn what to do... Get stick in and try and when u get it mastered, buy some better kits.

The Wherry kit fo 15 quid is amazing. 40 (well 37 really) pints for 15 quid.

I've not used one of these kits before but homebrew isnt warm and flat if you second ferment it in 2L bottles and then put it in the fridge before drinking it.... also it is stronger then most beers :))

Great tip thanks. I thought I was going to either have to get a pressure barrel or get those small bottles at Wilkinsons.

Could I use empty, cleaned, plastic, cola bottles?

cola bottles arnt exactly air tight, the best one ares old cider bottles, get yourself a capper and some caps at wilks too,,, ive done it for a few years now. never had a problem with bulmers bottles

everything has to be clean,
