  Sorry this is just unfounded. There is no concrete evidence that this was ever a price in Tesco for this product yet many on the forum are duped into believing this is a hot deal where clearly it is not. Maybe I should post 24 bottles of Peroni for £8 in Tesco Yeovil and see what heat that gets....

  I think this is store specific.
  Do Asda and Tesco deliberately misprice a few items in the odd store so people list them here then they get a mass of people turning up at al stores spending money?

  It had a yellow sticker type think that said 50p next to where it says £3.99. Anyway you cans see from my link that they were £3.99 before.

  They were this price about a month ago. I went to my local Tesco Metro and got eight packs. They were showing as £3.99 on the tag but scanned through at 50pence. I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility that the product is this price again.

  My personal opinion is that they should ban supermarket deals on HotUKDeals. The competition is so fierce between supermarkets and they'll do anything to get customers through their doors. We play into their hands through this site and I'm sure each supermarket has got a HotUKDeals marketing team. I don't really think that but it wouldn't surprise me. This site has a really good community spirit but a lot of these supermarket deals cause too many arguments about legitimacy, i.e. local or regional. Ban them and then we can all be fwends again :)
