First post be gentle lol.

I was in Sainsburys in East Kilbride tonight (Olympia branch) and stumbled across "Youngs Fish Fingers with Omega 3" packs of 20 were £3.99 on sale and going for £0.60. I've no idea if this is store specific or not.

Looks like it's fish fingers from now until Turkey at Xmas lol.

Got these yesterday (Bos Vegas) and had them for dinner tongiht!

Thought it was store specific, so didn't bother to post. I got three boxes, which is great considering they were meant to be about four quid a box!

They also had boxes of the salmon variety for 60p, (10's not 20's though)

Cold

Clearly sarcasm is fully functional though. :|

As stated first time using the site to post. I did search but didn't spot the sainsburys deal only those for Tesco etc which were a different price. To vote cold simply because it's been posted before is frankly absurd. What would you consider a reasonable price?

At the the very least it confirms it's not store specific. (_;)

Our store doesn't stock this range :(
Having said that, got the Youngs a while ago and they weren't very tasty.

Have you ever posted something constructive? Everyone has an opinion on taste, what you prefer does not affect this being a good deal for those that like them.

I'm sure this deal has been posted twice before. I bought 15 packs! 300 fishfingers .... bargain! Best before date of March 2012.

Well done for bragging about being so greedy and leaving some for others. A really proud moment.

TBH if this was local I'd have grabbed at least 5 packs myself, the kids love fish fingers so would save me a fortune. I'm all for sharing the love, but money in my pocket is more important. Whilst I'll never buy deals to sell on, I regularly buy multiple items that I will use myself.

That's because they're made from the fish they used to throw back! Nothing wrong with them nutritionally but why do you think they're described as 'Omega 3' rather than trusty cod or haddock fillet. Cat food really, but at this price they'll fill an empty stomach so why not?

I do apologise for not liking crappy fish fingers tek monkey, but i've forgotten who you are, are you somebody i should take notice of or maybe your'e everyone and i can't vote with my opinion or do you just like cheap muck fishfingers and felt belittled when i said birdseye, or just a sad act like me who's got nothing better to do with there time but to make comments on a shopping forum,
this is a red hot deal i've bought them and sett them on fire and now i'm cooking my birdseye fish fingers over the fire mmmmm.
PS if you post me your post code and flat no i'll post you a pound coin to get the birdseye instead then you can vote cold because they're made from floor scrapings in 40 degree heat by sweating vietnamese peasants.
best regards
Cap't Birdseye
