They were originally priced at £16 but on for £8 but they scan thro' at £6 - so we bought a few

The magnolia one's were very few in number but they had quite a few of the white one's. Not sure if this is nationwide but does seem like a steal at this price

Sorry in-case anyone hadn't realised its paint i'm talking about, forgot to add it to the title but didn't think till now it would be an issue!

just as a heads up if you're decorating somewhere you intend on staying in longer than a year i suggest you pay a little more and get a trade quality paint, this sort of emulsion will come off the walls with the slightest bit of steam/water and will mark extremely easy

however if it's literally to get the walls covered or even as a base coat 6 quid is a bargain, so i'll chuck in some heat ;D

Anyone know if the paint's any good?

Asda paint is ok, it is fantastic as a base coat on new plaster or the cover a colour before your main paint. It is quite thick and have had no problems with it 'coming off the walls'. The white is not white however and this is how they cut the corners in pricing, it is more of an grey white. For 60p a litre it is a steal I normally get 2 tins of 5litres for £10 and think this is fantastic too.

Just to confirm Asda still have loads left just bought some magnolia tubs - they were the new magnolia version (did magnolia change colours in Asda?)

sorry mate but that is awful advice, definitely do not paint new plaster with emulsion... you won't let it breathe

use supermatt/supercover or any other product made specifically for painting on to new plaster, it's also cheaper than normal emulsion...
