Kinect: Your Shape Fitness Evolved

Fitness Has Evolved

Introducing Your Shape™: Fitness Evolved, a revolutionary fitness game for Kinect for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Your Shape’s proprietary Player Projection technology puts your body into the game for the ultimate experience. You’ll control the game intuitively with your voice and body as you create your desired fitness experience. Choose a personal trainer to help you meet your specific fitness goals, take a Yoga or Martial Arts class, or play fun, family-friendly mini-games. As you exercise, you’ll receive specific feedback on your every move, thanks to the game's real-time precise tracking system. Plus, you’ll interact with captivating visual effects that respond to your movement and impact. You’ll have so much fun that you won’t notice how hard you’re working until you see the results!

Player Projection Technology Puts You Inside the Game Ubisoft’s proprietary Player Projection technology puts you in the game. Instead of the 16-dot tracking in other games, Your Shape Fitness Evolved tracks over 1 MILLION dots on your body. That means better tracking, no lag, and 100% player engagement.

Fitness Your Way You choose how you want to play – do you want a personal trainer to help you meet your specific fitness goals? Or do you want to take a class such as Yoga, Martial Arts, or Tai Chi? You can also get the family involved in fun mini-games like dancing, target practice and more! No matter what you choose, you’ll burn calories, have fun, and improve your fitness level.

Get Rewarded and Stay Motivated with Interactive Visual Effects As you master the fitness moves, the game responds with fun and surprising visuals that match your movement and impact. The better you perform, the more you are rewarded with interactive effects such as paint, water, light, fire, confetti, and more.

Unprecedented Feedback System Your Shape: Fitness Evolved will give you precise feedback on your every body part as you follow your coach’s instructions. Not only that, but the game will help you correct your form by adding guidelines to the screen so you know exactly where your arm or leg should be placed and you can see it in real-time. When you have perfect form you’ll get the most out of your workout and stay safe.

Cutting-Edge Workouts Created by Fitness Experts Your Shape features workout classes from well-known fitness experts. Michael George, who has trained celebrities including Reese Witherspoon and P.Diddy, leads a Martial Arts class. Michelle Bridges, trainer for all 5 seasons on Australia’s “The Biggest Loser”, teaches a special weight loss class.

Track Your Progress and Share It with the Community The game keeps track of your stats, such as calories and scores. All of your stats are uploaded seamlessly online and can be shared with friends and family. Create challenges among friends and help each other reach fitness goals.

Never Do the Same Workout Twice The game comes with hundreds of exercises; plus, there will be regular downloadable content releases to ensure you’ll always have new and exciting workout routines to learn.

Used Shopto a few times, they do need to shoot their web designer tho as the website is terribly designed and can be slow at times but they deliver quick and are usually quite cheap!

Thanks for posting!

I've ordered this this afternoon - and literally SIX minutes later had a text and the emails below to say it has been dispatched, just as promised on their website!

ShopTo.Net - Your Order Receipt - Thu 06/01/2011 16:16
ShopTo.Net - Your Order has been shipped - Thu 06/01/2011 16:22

As mentioned above, the website is not great and first time I went on it I thought it had been chucked together and was dubious. However, I've order a few games off shopto since and they nearly always arrive the next day.

I can now ache from Your Shape as much as I do from Dance Central!

Thanks OP for posting, was wanting this. Heat added & ordered :)

A cheap alternative is The Biggest Loser: Ultimate Workout -Kinect Compatible for £17.99 on Amazon. Seems to get good reviews.

The Biggest Loser: Ultimate Workout is really NOT an alternative.

I've got Kinect Sports, Biggest Loser and Your Shape (oh, and Active Sports 2) - Biggest Loser went in, and straight out of the 360 - going to sell it at work next week if I can get £15 for it.

Expects too much of you from the start - Your Shape is great and the games really work. Spent 5hrs on it over the last two days - LOVE Boxing Fitness.

now that this is expired, I don't feel so bad for hijacking the thread :)

What do you guys that have Kinects think of them, particuarly the fitness / party games?

Thinking of getting it for me and the Mrs to get a quick workout in, now and then, but reviews aren't so hot.

Shopto also have an iPhone app which is pretty good

@siksik

I got mine this week with 4GB bundle as 3 red rings. Was never going to get as knew if would be a gimick that would hardly ever use and though I could easily sell for £100 + plus Kinectimals which came with is nearly £25 trade in CEX I think.

I however put it in and am really impressed. Sure it's still gimmicky and I won't use it all that often on regular basis untill more content is availible, but it really is miles better than what else is out there are the mo. The wii and move don't come close to the experience on kinect.

There's still lots of obvious stuff that needs implementing but all simple stuff that will no doubt be addressed and looking at the CES announcement on Kinect Avatar I'm looking forward to seeing how many other innovative ideas M$ can bring to the fore.

There is a slight delay between movement and interpretation, but those who suggest it's half to a full second have either not played it or are wasted during their session, it's no more than a few milliseconds and perfectkly acceptable.

My Mrs. does paly games, but she and the 1 year old love Kinectimals and we both had fun playing a few mini games side by side in adventures.

I haven't got any fitness games, but I am a fan of the wii fit, and though I can't see how the kinect can offer the sort of features a balance board gives, I can honestly say that being ables to move around freely, without a traditiional controller, really adds to the enjoyment and expands the interaction. Just stepping right to left to move the the camera angle really adds to it.

Another thing I'm really impressed with is the Kinect Video. It is fantastic how it recognises a person and rotates and zoomed in the get you in full pictures to video conference with whoevers wathcing. Not only that, if it sees other people in the room it will pan out and include everyone in automaticall (you can turn this off if needed). But that is a really clever and usefull idea.

Oh also love how it still sees me in pitch black :p

Still, in it's current state it's still a gimmick, but one of the finest gimmicks which actually has a genuines potential to become standardised

thanks both. Might give it a shot, just for the fitness stuff more than anything else. We've got two babies and find it very hard to find the time to get to a gym. I do try and run here and there, but it's too chuffing cold!

This is awful. Postie's been today again and still no mail. I'm waiting on Just Cause 2 from Play which was posted on the 31st of December and this still hasn't arrived either. Can't really complain as didn't pay anything for p&p. Must be my mail.

Ordered this on Jan 8th, still showing out of stock today.
Any idea when this may come back in stock? Or is it a lost cause now? :(

Same here! I commented earlier how good they normally are and I'm sat excitedly waiting for the Postie and no game has arrived yet! I checked on here to see if anyone else was having the same problem. Probably a Royal Mail fault rather than Shop to though...

Ha it is really good too! I just warn, unless you do a lot of exercise a week don't get giddy and say you do on the fitness test. I got brave and said I exercise a few times a week(I play 6 a side) so the fitness test ends up been much longer and harder. I won't repeat the words I was shouting at the instructer when she said "just another 18 Lunges to go".

Only critism is that its quite annoying when it misses you doing a move when quite clearly you have done it!

Lol, I was in the same boat, played this for the first time on Wednesday. I go outdoor running a lot & play 5 a-side, so thought this would silly computer game would be a breeze in the park, oh how wrong was I! My legs haven't hurt so much in ages! They still hurt now. Top game though. And I agree with it missing your movement / steps, very annoying.

I don't suppose you know if it Counts your calories when it misses your movement? As on Silver Level Cardio Boxing Part 2 it misses alot of my movements when the pace kicks up despite me doing them!
