The reviews say they are fakes!!!
The issue here is that reviews on Amazon are for the product. So if someone buys from a third party seller and it turns out to be fake, they leave a review for the product. These are "Dispatched from and sold by Amazon", so they'll be genuine.

Not so I'm afraid. My last bottle of perfume from Amazon was fake and I and many others returned it. Ordering from Amazon does not mean you will get a genuine product.

The issue comes from the 'commingling' of Amazon and marketplace sellers' stock where they choose to have it 'fulfilled by Amazon' - it's a great way for unscrupulous sellers to get rid of their counterfeit goods !

Yes that needs to be stopped doesn't it.
However my perfume wasn't fulfilled by Amazon Sarah, it was actually sold by and fulfilled by Amazon itself. I no longer buy perfume or make up from them for that reason.
Wow, and what was the result when you contacted Amazon? Seems fakes can get into any supply chain then!!

They done nothing! Carried on selling it and there were loads of reviews warning people not to buy it. They just refunded everyone who sent it back.
Thanks for the heads-up. I've already ordered this now, but I'll check it carefully when it arrives. Will report to Action Fraud if it's fake, for whatever that's worth.

If it's fake I'd return it to Amazon as I'm sure they are very well aware of the weakness in the system they have set up.
