Loyd Grossman, the king of pasta sauces, is now the king of Indian sauces! I think they taste great, being sourced from fresh, good quality ingredients and none of that chemical, processed stuff for all the nutritionists out there ;) Easy to make, just pour onto your chicken or whatever meat or veg you want to use. And in a variety of flavours, from Balti to Madras to Tikka Masala! Excellent! So get yours now!!

Yes, I think they have been £1 at Asda for ages now.

Voted hot for me. I think it's really nice sauce. :)

The madras sauce is truly fab if you like hot sauces and the best available without buying a take away curry - the others are still ok

Hot deal at £1 and far better than any own brand or patak's crap which usually costs more :)

Hopefully these will be better than their crap watery pasta sauces
#12
Good sauce for a quid, I can't eat the Pataks crappy sauce
#13
Good deal, but I still have a cupboard full from when Tesco had them on BOGOF. Heat added.

I make my own and it's better. I also don't have to put up with Lloyd's pretentious comments on the jar.

I LOVE these, going to try and get some I think. Only ever get them when they're a pound, mind ;) Thanks OP!

Well I guess you are always going to say your own is better but really others need to say the same rather than yourself. When I can buy your concoctions off the shelf at the supermarket I will believe you. Your own self belief is rather pretentious IMHO.

The Thai ones are particularly good.

The Italian sauces are okay, same for the Indian ones.

The point is I think mine is better and to me that's all that matters. Try making your own you might be surprised.

Used to be much better when they first came out but they're still one of the best around.

Bargain for a quid. Mucho hot.

Not yummy. Poor product.

Since launch last year they have been on offer ever since.

Cold from me.
#21
Taste dreadful. Nasty premier foods chemical taste. Cold from me. Yuk!

Do they have speaking jars?

The CO-OP also have this deal on too.

The Lloyd Grossman sauces have an extremely high salt content, even compared to other cook in sauces. As someone else said, making your own is far healthier and a lot easier than you might think.
#25
High salt and watch out for those crunchy bits ;)

"Batches of Loyd Grossman sauces are being recalled over fears that they may contain pieces of glass."

Lol, I know it was a while ago, but it doesn't exactly fill me with confidence, maybe glass, but not confidence.
