Just on how flimsy these phones are, I've had mine crack ( Not just the digitizer, but the lcd inside) twice in the last two months, and these were with a **** case as well...
I honestly don't know what I'd recommend instead, I'm using a moto e atm, have you checked out the oneplus one?

I was gonna say z2 or HTC one m8. As people are complaining about the Xperia phones screens cracking get the HTC one m8.

I've got a HTC one m8 it's great but not a "compact" or small phone.

great reviews on techradar and various sites too.

it's solid and has a great design. unibody metal casing & can take an impact. but still get a case for it

i am sorry about that. :( well, my next phone's screen shouldn't be bigger than 4.7"...
i was wondering about the Samsung alpha but its 1860 mAh battery just killed me...

what is wrong with the phone?

I have the Sony SP and a Xperia before that,no screen cracks. Both have been wonderful phones, though as I'm not a big Sony fan that surprised me.Having had these two I would love this phone when it drops in price a bit.Wonderful spec.

The self cracking glass backs and ignoring are a real worry. Awesome phone and this is a pretty good price for the green version. However you need to verify if this would be warranty covered in uk prior to purchase.
#9
You numpty the site is Amazon France which is eu so yes you will pay vat and duty which is included in the price. And warranty must be pan eu or they can not sell here, benefits of our 12 billion pound membership free. I will be surprised if Amazon will ship to a uk address though, usually it directs you to buy from the uk site

Weren't there different spec levels for this phone depending on where it was sold?

Seems a great price. Not sure I'd go with the vert. I prefer the copper.

amazon. fr does delivery to uk. the item page says. ✔
I beleive the manufacturer warranty is valid in EU… ✔
I am still not sure about the delivery cost and any possible fee (duty or extra VAT…)

I'm not talking utter crap, I've already expanded on why it's a terrible phone, I'm just speaking from experience, you ignorant tool.

if someone has bad experience about a company that is understandable and that's it....

I had a bad experience with a playstation 4, does that mean these are terrible consoles?

In the view of that person, yes it is. Generally, no it is not...

Good philosophy. I fully agree that just because one or more people have a bad experience does not make a product terrible.

Exactly, my experience with it was a bad one, and hence I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, now that doesn't mean I'm 'talking utter crap', the same way you're not when you're trying to brand this as the ultimate phone, with a perfect size and solid hardware and software. Although I actually agree with you, on paper it's a great phone! In real life though it's got the build quality of a **** toothpick, and that's what makes it terrible. I'm not the only person who has experienced this, and if I was someone who was looking into buying a new phone, I'd like to know this information. I wouldn't buy a high end phone if numerous others have had experience with it cracking.
It's fine, you can avoid the name calling, I prob won't. ****.
