Ok so Zavvi currently have an offer on new releases. If you pre order you get 10% off, bargain i thought, so added Star Trek beyond blu ray for £14.99 and A secret life of pets dvd for £10 to my basket but when i went to check out it deducted 20% and only charged me £19.99.

Tried it with two dvd format at £10 each and it takes £4 off the total and with two Bluray format at £14.99 each and it takes £6 off the total.

The films i ordered are not released until End Nov so what will happen at time of dispatch, i.e will they honour the price who knows but defo worth a shot.
I just got confirmation of order email, so will await my goods!!!

zavvi never, ever honour glitches but always worth a punt either way - in it to win it and all that.

True. They are however responsible for one of my greatest wins ever. Ordered House seasons 1-4 complete box on DVD for about £18 years back, plus quidco cashback - which I was happy enough with as a price anyway. They cancelled it blaming mis-price, but not before the warehouse dispatched it. I received the DVDs, a refund, AND the cashback.

Zavvi cancel correctly priced orders with no reasonable explanation so I'm not going to bother wasting time trying this!

Edit: 2 blu rays for £24 doesn't actually seem like a price glitch, isn't that about standard price?

It's a bit better than standard. Most stuff settles at £15 when it's new. So £12 for a brand new release on blu ray is pretty decent, on the scale of brand new releases.

In general though, all pre-order and new releases prices are just degrees of terrible. £12 is just a bit less terrible than most.

As it's Zavvi I'd be surprised if they honoured it. Their customer service isn't quite what it was. I preordered Dying Light using a 10 % code which they sent me not stating any limits which was accepted at the checkout so I waited. Three days after release date contacted them to see where my game was. They had cancelled my order and not even told me as they reckon the code didn't apply to preordered. Why did their checkout accept it then? Haven't used them since, up until then had found them pretty good.

They do honour glitches. I got 2 Hobbit Trilogy 3D box sets recently for £7.99 each.

I'm pretty sure they sent out items back then when they had this 50 pounds off 5 pound glitched coupon instead of the proper 5 pounds off 50 pounds coupon. Sure, they also cancelled some, but some others got sent out.
