Zavi/VMS can't be trusted, they do nothing but mess people about. Best to avoid at all costs no matter how good the deal.

agreed, ordered a game from them never arrived, spent 2 weeks trying to get a refund.

Everything ive ordered from them has arrived, and everything ive ordered had been what I ordered. Ill continue to order from them if their prices remain ahead of the competition.

Regretably I have to agree after my last 3 transactions all went wrong.
Oh and these sale prices aren't the best either, make sure you do some checks before ordering.

Zavvi need to sort themselves out.

Sorry to be negative OP :x

Had nothing but problems with them ,have ordered 4 times and received 1,still waiting on 2 wii games i ordered on 27/8, leaving it on to see when they deliver them:x

Ordered a box set from them on 9th December, stated in stock, despatched within 24 hours ...even now it shows in stock, yet when I check my order status it shows processing...sucks big time as ordered it as a chrissy pressy which obviously isn't going to arrive.

Really bad show by them, its not even as though the box set I ordered was cheaper than other websites I use.

Ive only ordered once, was the doctor who dvd box set off HUKD, and had no problems at all, was delivered within 4 days so id sure use them again if the price was right, shame they aint on Quidco tho....

Blimey, I guess I was lucky - I ordered a game two days ago and arrived this morning! :-D I found their website appalling though - kept crashing, losing the contents of my basket when I clicked on a new page and I often had to re-type pages several times before they were actually accepted.

messed me around 2 took 2 weeks to get a cd

worst customer service ever
took 2 weeks to reply to me and they didn't answer a single question i asked
I replied to that email(as they requested) and they didn't bother replying again.

I also agree that Virgin/Zavvi online are best avoided. Placed an order, just got the automatic confirmation email. Item was never received, filled in their online query form to cancel the order, automated email received, but nothing else. They just don't bother contacting you, and you'll never get through to them on the telephone either. Had to raise it with my credit card company to arrange a refund - they had my money for at least two weeks, and I had no goods and no communication from them. Seems there's several people who have suffered a similar atrocious service from this company.

Whatever Richard Branson touches... it doesn't become gold, it becomes the exact opposite, that man is destroying anything good that is British!!

I just had a quick look at there "Clearout'' Xbox360 games,
The two I eventually got delivered this month after waiting 3 weeks and making several phonecalls (continually in stock during the 3 weeks) are a tenner more in this sale than they were when I ordered them the end of November :whistling:

After the fiasco last week with my guaranteed order of the Wii play before christmas. I`ll never buy from them again.

Couldn`t even get no sense out of the customer help line.

Cold for me i`m afraid i`ll look else where.
#15
Voted cold as the prices seem the same or dearer than before and most are destroyed by the other sales

I'm glad I'm not the only one - pre-ordered Mass Effect a while ago, then a week before it was released, they billed me, apologised then cancelled the order and messed up the refund. Eventually got it sorted, but will be most reluctant to use again.

I ordered the Sex and the City boxset and it hadn't turned up a month later. They resent it and I ended up with two when the original eventually turned up! I won't complain at that!

Thanks for feedback - i was close to ordering from them but will change my mind now - and i haven't even got a bargepole to wave at them!
