Nearly bought one of these after searching for best price but have decided to go for a lower range model as I only want it to download BBC iPlayer content (the 4GB Zen will do that too) so enhanced sound and wireless capability not that important. This is a good price for this high-end model though - it's sold on Play.com for £149.99 for example.

Experience your MP3 music as the artist originally intended with Creative ZEN X-Fi - the first MP3 player to restore the quality of compressed music with award-winning X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity Audio technology.

Indulge in rich audio where you can hear your music in crystal clear clarity. Take in guitar strumming, crisp cymbal clashes and deep pounding bass as detail lost during file compression are now beautifully restored. The built-in X-Fi technology intelligently moves a conventional left/right earphone stereo source away from your ears, virtually expanding it for an audio experience with a breathtakingly realistic depth of field. You'll feel as if you were listening to your music from a pair of high end speakers.

Oh right, amazon have reduced them too. They weren't this price when I checked a while back.

(Btw, if anyone comes across a <£50 deal for the regular 4GB Zen, please let me know - that's my budget for an iPlayer compatible video player )

No you can't surf the net but you can stream music and vids from your pc, and you can use messenger.
I have one and they are well worth the price for sound quality alone imho

off topic but how can you get iplayer stuff onto a regular 4gb zen? is a conversion necessary? is there a way to auto download required shows?
