Ah, such a nostalgic dream combo right there. Add in Boards of Canada and you're in ambient bliss.

Great album well worth the price and then some. Heat added.

Definitely one of my favourites. Sia is on a few tracks too, not a lot of people know that :)

I've always held this album in high regard but i've never heard of The Cinematic Orchestra. Any album in particular you want to recommend?

Hi Jon, the album "Everyday" is my personal favourite and a good place to start, but all their work is very good. One of their most recent albums "Ma Fleur" included a track named "To build a home", which has been used a massive amount in TV and advertising. Check them out here: http://youtu.be/vBeKgoqVopk "Everyday" album, and http://youtu.be/QB0ordd2nOI "To Build a Home" track. Hope you enjoy.

'Every Day' is my favorite from Cinematic Orchestra.

Also checkout Bonobo - Black Sands / Days to Come - also great albums :D

This and Moon Safari by Air are two of the best albums i've ever had the pleasure of listening to ...

"Distractions" is worth the money alone

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you go and buy this album back, that'll be the end of it. I I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will smash up your Katy Perry back catalogue.......

I have a feeling i may have listened to Ma Fleur at some point because of the track you mentioned but never clicked with any of the other tracks for whatever reason. I'll give them another chance and start with Everyday. Cheers!

one of my favourite albums!

Great Album. Got this one like 10 years back or so.

Going to dig this out. I bought it many years ago during my "discovery of music" teenage years which basically meant me spending an outrageous amounts of money on CD's, hoarding them all, listening to few properly, and many of them gathering dust in my cd/bookcase in the man cave!

Vaguely remember not liking it first time around but your ears mature with age and I'm sure it will be a very different experience this time around!

Amazing album, love this one.

One of the best albums money can buy. Not a bad track on it. If you haven't heard zero7 buy this now :)

Happy to add to all the positive comments. I own over 1500 albums on CD and this is one of the best. Sia's voice complements the lads' tunes perfectly too.

I'd also highly recommend all The Cinematic Orchestra's work to anyone too. I even have 2 albums from Concert Live by them which are well worth checking out when they have a sale on (bit expensive at full price).

If you like The Cinematic Orchestra you should also check out Skalpel.

Fantastic album. Heat added!

If you like the Zero 7 albums then I'd recommend a pretty unknown album called Residue by Hefner from same era.

The best thing about reading the comments to an amazing deal for an amazing album (you love) are the recommendations from fellow heads about similar groups/LPs..

Both amazing albums no real need to put either of them down......

Just for those following this thread, Morrisons had some Zero 7 CDs for £2 last night - they seem to get the better ones now as my Poundland has had the same stock all year - they both buy their CDs from Music Magpie...
