Voted cold. You didnt include p&p in the cost and the reviews on the svp site say it all!
SVP postage is always about £3-4 to consider, good company though and reputably very good at exchanging faulty media

Voted cold. You didnt include p&p in the cost and the reviews on the svp site say it all!

reviews on these sites mean squat

A) people are more likely to write something if they have a problem than if they don't
B) The reviews on the elite dual layer are also varied but if you know where you're looking plenty of people use them with high success rate.

Media success depends on software, hardware, firmware etc etc etc,

I'm not saying cheap media is innocent, in fact it is indeed often the root cause of many a problem, I'm just saying these reviews should be taken with a pinch of salt
Been looking for some cheap Dual Layer 8GB discs but seems hard to find anything decent for under a quid a disc ie. verbatim's.

Amazon have some cheap stuff too but it's also plagued by bad reviews.

Anything else recommended?
to gary_rip - exactly what ms2005 said for the reviews and for the p&p UberTiger sorted that for me!
Anyone tried these for 360 backups?
awful discs, and yes i've ried these before, threw em away.,
i use aones for all my back ups must of burn't over 300+ over the past year and I've only ever had one coaster and that was down to the machine.

I buy mine from scan Here £4.69 for 10, can prob be found cheaper elsewhere.
I still stand by my cold vote... the fact more than 1 person is having problems says it all.
Anyone tried these for 360 backups?

Hit and miss mate, in fact work on one console out of 8 odd consoles I have tried.
v.cold, naf discs and since the takeover a naf company to order from
Anyone tried these for 360 backups?

Just get a 50 spindle of elite double layer, same dye as the aones before they turned to aone plus, which reportedly is less reliable.

50 spindle on svp is £16 delivered
