Shame that one of the greatest footballers ever will be remembered mostly for nutting (in the chest) Materazzi in his last ever act in football

Nonetheless WHAT a player. That ponce Ronaldo aint fit to lace his drinks. Good price but I'll wait for this to drop to the magic £2.99. Heated - with a but to the heat button

I cant see many people in England buying this. Apart from French and Algerian ex-pats. I just know what this doc will be like. Artsy french poetic musings yabbering on about how gracefull and balletic he was blah blah. More slow-mo's than the matrix and a level of hero worship that borders on ridiculous

lol you must have watched it? Thats exactly what it is like

It's an interesting film but a watch once only really. Worth watching to see ZZ ghost through midfield like no other. Don't actually remember any commentary & poetic musings tho...

A great player although he was sent off twice in WC. He had a private matter when he was in Turin and Lippi knew about this and told Matterazzi to ask him about it to see what reaction he got......
#11
"Football fans" who only watch Footy when the world cup is on probably won't understand the art behind this DVD
#12
To Gingerbiy: You were watching that BBC show with Crouch last night I presume. Like the guy said it was a rumour, and he has since revealed what Materattzi said!

that was on that world cup programme the other day when that fella from the channel 4 Italian football show stated it, not much evidence otherwise, all the lip readers etc state that something was said about his mother/sister

Zidane was one of the greatest ever, not appreciated enough in this country imo

Wrong. It's a recording of the full 90 minute game between Real Madrid and Villarreal - except that the camera focuses on Zidane. It's shot with a multitude of high end cameras, producing breathtaking cinematic imagery. That said, for all it's beauty it's a very odd film...

best player ever since myself of course

I watched this awhile ago. It was really really really BORING! Imagine the camera just focused on one person throughout the match and ignores the action elsewhere. And its not in English either.

Worth it just for the soundtrack.
#18
Worth it for the Mogwai soundtrack alone

Great footie player. Odd bloke. Could earn tons as a Spock look-alike if he gets some pointy ears.

 Finally there are people out that that see Ronaldo (i assume its Cristiano you're talking about :-D) as a ponce of a player. Juninho Pernambuco takes much better freekicks than Ronaldo. Messi runs with the ball and finishes much better than Ronaldo.

Who youve obvliously never heard of but are so embarrased to admit it, would prefer to leave an ill informed comment.

either way, youve made yourself look silly

A ponce, agreed. But you can't ignore the fact that he scores a lot of goals and embarasses a lot of defenders in the process.

I don't know, it was James Richardson who covers the Italian football who mentioned it the other day on a WC programme. I might ask him on Twitter, he is ACJimbo.

It must have touched a nerve and must have been more that the your sister is a **** etc.

Agreed, I watched most of this film and was taken to a level of boredom I've not experienced before or since.

I really wanted to enjoy it because it was about Zidane but I just couldn't. I'm not adverse to cinematic documentaries but this was just epic boredom.

one of the best music videos I have ever seen.

watching ZZ for 90 mins is pointless, but the soundtrack phenominal.

for this price worth it for popping on for background viewing when chatting

Damning by faint praise. The Bestie vid sounds more appealing, but I've heard only good about the Zeezee soundtrack - always half of a film's value for me - at least.
