The Venue / The Merchant
Once a simple quarry, the National Diving and Activity Centre is now an activity-filled wonderland for divers and adventurers. The waters host an array of exotic sunken attractions for divers to explore, including shipping-container training platforms, boats, a helicopter and even an aircraft fuselage. Diving courses are offered, as well as pursuits such as Segway riding, water walkers, The Wire zip slide and a 400ft bungee jump. All this can be found just a short five-minute drive from Chepstow.

In a Nutshell
Launching from a 70m cliff, visitors of all ages can ride one of the UK’s longest zip slides above an 80m-deep flooded quarry near Chepstow

"The waters host an array of exotic sunken attractions for divers to explore, including shipping-container training platforms, boats, a helicopter and even an aircraft fuselage" You could put tinsel and fairy lights on it but it still sounds like a flooded scrap yard.
