Doubt this will go up in flames (lol), but thought it was a good price for a Zippo.
Around £5 more elsewhere I've seen.

price reduced even further to £8.39 28/2

    Good price for a zippo.

I do like Zippo lighters. Although not the most practical, they do look damn cool :D

Great deal - thank you. I've been looking for a replacement to tide me over while I get my 10 year old model fixed

Purchased something similar to this a few months ago where you have to pour the lighter fluid into a wool at the inside bottom. Works great for a few days, but then it dries up somehow. Ultimately means you're throwing money.

I still use my dunhill vintage lighter which I bought for £1.50 from a car boot market 15 years ago. The damn thing is worth over £800 lol

I hear you, but Zippos are better than their imitation flip-lighter counterparts at retaining fuel, and the petrol itself is dirt-cheap.

Depending on how good you are at not losing your Zippo, the absolute cheapest light around is probably still the 4-for-a-pound man down the road.

But with a Zippo, what you're really paying for is the quality, (lifetime) durability, and that deliciously satisfying *ting-clik* that kinda makes you feel like you are loading some cool, beautifully engineered little weapon.

Since buying a Zippo I've had to fight my way through a huge crowd of beautiful women just to get from my front door to my car in the morning, and this is a good price, so heat added.

Next time you refill it, make sure the room is well ventilated.

if it was a genuine Zippo then there's no point mentioning it as the cheap imitations are terrible.

Genuine Zippos are excellent, and hold the fluid for a very reasonable amount of time and will last a lifetime.

I had a Zippo years ago and I was forever having to top it up with lighter fuel without having used it very much. Is that normal?

I've got 3, don't really use them though as the fuel evaporates so quickly (within a few days).

Have you considered converting it to gas? Google 'z-plus'.

Some places like Timpsons ( key cutter/ shoe repairers) engrave lighters, dog tags etc.

Like the black one, I had the same in green at one point, got it lost. White version looks by far the best with that little zippo logo running length ways just across the top :)
