That's a variation of the placebo effect - you think the Tesco ones are worse because they're cheaper.

The ingredients are _EXACTLY_ the same.

none of these off the shelf hayfever tablets seem to work for me, I've been through the whole range at boots!, tried herbal tablets too, this year and last year with no effect at all, also tried honey in my hot drinks, lemon and honey and number of nasal sprays, nothing seems to work.

I was quite bad the other day (even when it wasnt a hot day) i think theres a certain pollen spore that must affect me, seems to start at the end of May and last till about mid august.

Can anyone suggest anything else that I've not already tried.:-(

Cold, bought 3 packs of the same thing from Chemist Direct for £1.17 which arrived today. Even with £2.95 postage, it still worked out as a better deal for me as I've stocked up on holiday stuff as well and if anyone is buying at least 4 packs it is a better deal all round

This is correct I suffer really bad from hayfever and no of the shelf ones work 100% for me either. I find that the tesco ones taken with 2 tesco paracetamol help some.

My doctor told me that nothing works 100%.

I'd certainly not rule out the psychological aspect - if I gave you the Tesco tablets in a Clarityn box would your experience of the effects be different? :p

Could be an interesting thing to try out - get a packet of both and get someone else to give you a tablet out of each on different days and see how they affect you ;-)

I've just bought 150 Loratadine tablets from Chemist4U for £6.15 :-D
