Survival of the Dead:The master filmmaker George A. Romero continues to reinvent the modern horror genre with a zombie film that draws new battle lines between the living and the dead.

It's been less than a week since the dead began to walk, and the world has gone to hell. The rule of law is disintegrating. The military is in chaos. A war-weary band of soldiers goes AWOL, convinced they'll be better off on their own. Led by Sarge, a tough, chain-smoking guardsman, their only ambition is to survive. They are lured to a remote island that promises to be the last paradise on earth, only to discover that even here, miles away from civilization, there is no escape from a world at war. The battle that follows overtakes everyone on the island, living and dead, and poses a new meaning for the word, "survival".

Told with Romero's iconic sense of humour and keen eye for the fault-lines in contemporary culture, George A. Romero's Survival of the Dead expands and intensifies the zombie universe for which he is celebrated.

Day of the Dead: Nick Cannon, Mena Suvari, and Ving Rhames star in this horror film based on the George A. Romero classic zombie film. A mysterious virus has infected the small town of Leadville, Colorado and the military is brought in to enforce a quarantine and stop the spread of the disease. As people perish, survivors realize that the virus is creating the walking dead who crave human flesh. Only a small number of people are immune to the virus and those few survivors must battle to fend off the infected zombies while trying to make it out of town alive.

Diary of the Dead: When a group of film students making a horror movie in the woods discovers that the dead have begun to revive, they turn their cameras on the real-life horrors that suddenly confront them, creating a first person diary of their bloody encounters and the disintegration of everything they hold dear

£7.99 for 3 BluRay movies is a HOT deal!
All 3 movies may not be perfect, but they are far better made than most modern low budget horror movies and worth watching.

And that's your opinion and your entitled to it, just like I am entitled to mine. Far from "crap" and half the price of the next cheapest so that makes this a hot deal!
If you want to review the movies visit the IMDB and leave your opinion there.

You know, my expectations were so low for the Day of the Dead remake that when I actually watched it I quite enjoyed it, for what it was. Ok, the gecko zombie was a total FTW moment (what were they thinking). If you have ever played Left4Dead then this could almost be a live action version of it.
I was more disappointed with Diary and Survival, to be honest (expectations too high, I guess).

If you like zombie films then you should see these to be a completest. Hopefully the price will drop further.

(Unashamed pimpage for Stagnight of the Dead... http://www.stagnightofthedead.com/index.html)
