If you cannot afford to get them a Nintendo Wii, you can pick up a Gamecube for about £15.

we have these at our local morrisions they are £8 left overs from christmas as they had loads of them before christmas

Yeah, I got the impression when I saw this a while back, was that it came out to capitalize on all the grandparents who want to buy little Timmy something for his birthday, and he showed you a picture of that white little box with a wand...

Im almost certain this has commodore-style games that either respond to the wand being moved (in any direction, not accurately swinging like the wii) or just button presses - and the wireless is just using infrared to transmit the info. May well be a good price, just a terrible product.
