I'm after a good router when I move house. The area could be upgraded to adsl2+ but its doubtful. Will this be good? I have not had a good experience with zoom in the past but this was several years ago.

Great...just ordered one thank you

I have one of these, very easy to set up. Mine dosent write the settings to flash so if you lose power to the unit it wipes settings, as I say easy to set up so it takes 2 minutes to set up again and I may have a duff unit.

Or price match it with PCWorld as I did. I've had this modem for over a month now. It's rock steady. No problems writing to flash on my unit.

remember, you only get 125mbps with wireless adapters with the same chipset.

otherwise you get only 54mbps.

Well I picked my one up tonight and I am typing this connected to the internet by;

My netgear router :roll:

plugged the zoom in and it will not pick up my broadband signal, plug in Netgear and works, plug in my really old adsl modem and it works but the zoom dsl light just keeps flashing away saying it can't find my broadband :x

Downloading a firmware update to see if that makes a difference, fingers crossed :whistling:

PS, worked in IT for 14yrs and know my way about these things.
