Trying to decide if this is a good deal, looks wise it seems nice, but is money right for spec.

Could it be a rebrandeed Ainol Novo 7 Mars as they look very similar and appear to have identical specification?

the A9 is dual core isn't it ?
plenty on Amazon with similar spec, i'd much prefer to deal with them rather than Ebuyer should anything go wrong personally

I think eBuyer are excellent for returns and have never had a bit of bother with them.

A9 can be dual core- its just the system architecture. This however is a single A9 core based chip- so its not dual core.

Good decision- it will be noticeably quicker

All the £75 Elf 2s on Amazon are from China or Hong Kong, you are looking at £95+ for one from the UK and I really wasnt looking to spend more than the £80 this is.

Currently available from tesco deals for £50 of tesco vouchers if you have got nothing better to do with them..

http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/product.aspx?R=2925
Yes, I'd seen that - hence how I'd ended up on this thread. But is £50 of clubcard vouchers worth trading for a product that can be bought for £80 is what I'm wondering?

Clubcard deals seem to have got a bit........well sh1te really, of late so not really many other options TBH.

Strike that from the record - they have charged me £10 for the return of an item & claimed that it was not faulty. Never again.

Received mine yesterday and typing this on it now. Build seems excellent, screen is nice, but you can tell its a budget device with only a single core cpu every now and again.

Everything I have tried so far has worked, except google chrome.

My only complaint is there is one spot on the rear left (landscape) that gets a little warm when in use.

Quatuor core is popular now.

Battery is slightly poor 3300 :(

Isn't this just the "normal" price for a tablet of this spec ?
