anyway, FM1 socket was dead on arrival, do not count with upgrades.
I'd be more worried about the drive being 5400rpm or 7200rpm rather than its form factor.

That's kind of what I meant, without being explicit. However, the cache is also generally lower on 2.5" drives too, which will negatively affect performance. It's bizarre though, because 2.5" drive generally tend to be more expensive than their larger equivalents. Ebuyer must've obtained a job-lot of cheap 320GB ones that weren't selling.

What an Idiotic thing to say. Rare enough that the pc has basically FREE assembly & delivery, which makes it a pretty good price. Gotta remember what you said, casual users use this pc, and most casual users won't be able to assemble their own, making this a decent bang for their buck

The HDD that came with mine was 2.5" so you maybe one of the few or majority no matter though!
