hstan odd build, i7 processor and lousy graphics ard hahaha

16GB ram! That's a fair old chunk!

yeah HD4000 integrated graphics is going to severely limit what this pc is capable of, and will be a bottleneck for anything graphically intensive. Makes the i7 overkill in this combination in my opinion.

But very few things are intensive in that sense. Gaming, 3D modelling, scientific simulation.

Stuff like Video Playback, Photo editing etc. is much more CPU based so the i7 will help, not hinder.

Clearly people who have no idea. decent spec for price, especially including windows. just swap it the psu (if it isn't cooler master branded) and whack in a gtx 760 / r9 280 and you have a decent enough gaming pc.

If you're swapping the PSU and adding a graphics card, you're more than qualified to just build yourself one from scratch, in which case you can spend the money more effectively for gaming (i5 and 8GB RAM)

and yes I agree, some very interesting comments in here lol

As a Base for a sub £700 gaming pc it's pretty much unrivalled. Good spot.

But I'm guessing people aren't comfortable picking parts that work together. For a base to upgrade upon, this would do the trick.
