Overpriced.

I don't think it's overpriced, but it's not a deal.
For someone who want a pc for internet / Photo / Video it's a good one.
Now, if you want to play some games, this one would be a better option:

i7 and 16GB RAM are a bit much for browsing Facebook and cropping pictures in Picasa..

Thats also a pretty bad deal. Anyone willing to spend an afternoon building could have an R9 280, SSD and G3258 for the same price as that! Even my almost year old PC is better, and it cost less (and has an SSD)

Steady with the links. somebody could've ended up receiving that for Christmas after their parents reading it was a gaming computer.

But most of people don't build a rig.
The retail price for Intel Core i7-4790 cpu is £269
The price for 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz RAM is between £90 and £120
A cheap 2TB HDD cost £60
Windows 7 cost £70 (rrp)
And the rest of the price is filled with the other components.
It's why i said that it's not a deal. It's just the normal retail price.

It's why i said "some games". it's enough to play some older games like BF3, Rayman Legend / Origins, Oblivion, all the Fallout, Bioshock 1 and 2, etc...

well its just that you actually said "For someone who want a pc for internet / Photo / Video it's a good one." lol

People don't build because they don't realise how easy it is. It's true that people don't, but if you're discussing value then saying "people don't build" doesn't really mean anything.

Well for HD video editing the i7 is useful.
