Just got pricedrop email from camelcamelcamel. Best price its ever been!

The screen/speakers/build and battery life are awesome so adding a grey one for me and OH can now be passed the gold one she has been eyeing!

Latest software update on the 2017G model really make this one of the BEST BUDGET FLAGSHIP phones.

Android N and Daydream Compatibility expected in 2017 as per the forums as well but not banking on it anytime soon.

Comes with Passport 2.0 Warranty (You have 3 years warranty if you buy a European device. Additionally 6 months free display repair and over 3 years once a free water damage repair. )

seems a genuine alternative for the top 3/4 phones out there. I am interested now thanks OP for the heads up about this. although i will refrain from judging the price until i have a look around

This or a Oneplus 3t?

not worth the extra for the 3t imo.

why the cold votes people? this is a heluvota smartphone for the money.

Surprised its going cold...a month ago at £360 it was hot and I bought. Wanted a change from my OP2 and initially was missing the software but then dropped the update and ofcourse screen/speakers + headphones/build and battery life make it a winner for me esp for Content consumption. I'm a Oneplus fan so don't get me wrong but at £399 for the 3T, OP seem to have got the strategy a bit wrong (£70 increase when US/EU only had a 40$/€ increment). The choice ofcourse is an individual one at the end. Either way you get a sizzler of a phone A7 or 3T!

Bought this phone from Amazon Italy a week ago for £340. It's a brilliant phone. I had the s7 edge before I broke it and it is easily on par for far less money. Heat added.

Bjw2, can I ask you what type of plug you got with the charger as you bought it from Italy? Likely a Euro two pin, but did it come with any adapters?

Did Amazon.it also provide VIP Passport 2.0 warranty. It seem there from ZTE on amazon.de but not sure if will have to send to Germany if any issues. ( Postage price maybe an issue but if was in UK would be £360 anyway!)

yes I got VIP and it came with 2 pin plug so I had to buy an adapter. costing £1 from poundland.

As far as I'm aware you'll have to send it back to where you got it from but if you use Amazon and a fault arises they will pay the return postage.

No idea why this is being voted cold, I bought one earlier, couldn't resist at this price. With the recent update and consequent improvements I can't think of a better all rounder for the money.

How does this compare to honor 8 which I ordered today and is roughly the same priced as this deal? Not sure if I've done the good thing.

Hows the camera on the axon? Not heard great things and I need it to be on par at least with a Moto x style which I'll be replacing

Selfie cam is quite good. The back camera has the same specs as Samsung S7 but not as good esp at night. (costs more and then other pros and cons as well)

Haven't used the honor 8 but reviews suggest the camera is awesome. Specs maybe a bit lighter but still a good purchase. Have a look at some reviews and maybe play with it a bit and let us know I guess.

Heat from me. I've got this phone and its great.

Camera is on a par with my wife's OP3 (though low light isn't as good)

Battery life is amazing compared to the OP3 even though it's got a 2K screen! I'm a heavy user and I've been amazed at how good the battery life is, even with lots of screen on time.

Display is noticeably better than the OP3s FHD screen.

Audio is simply amazing! Best sound I've ever had from a smartphone, both from speakers and headphone jack.

Quickcharge 3.0 obviously isn't as good as Dash charge on the OP3, but it's quick enough for me. You can get a full charge in just over an hour using the supplied charger.

MiFavor UI is another Chinese take on iOS and had no app drawer. This was easily fixed by installing Nova launcher. That said, the settings menu is pretty nicely laid out.

The phone itself is very snappy and I've experienced no slowdowns whatsoever.

The only downside I've found so far is the lockscreen. Apps such as PowerAmp don't work properly with it which is very annoying. ZTE are apparently aware of the issue asked are working on a fix for it however.

Signal may be a slight issue. I don't seem to get as good a signal on this as on my old OnePlus One, but this needs further testing. That said I've not had any problems making calls, so it may be just me or genuine network issues. Hopefully they'll improve this in a future update if it is the phone.

Overall I'm very chuffed with it.

Looking forward to receiving mine, though I have just discovered it doesn't have the aptX codec for bluetooth audio, bit of an ommission for a flagship rival esp given its focus on audio...

Still showing as €368.91. Shipping costs attached (Standard 2-3 day €5.90 or premium €7.40) to my postcode.

When Amazon convert it to pounds it comes to just under £335. Of course if you have a card that will do cheaper conversion you could pay in Eur.
It also says free prime delivery but when you go to check out the cost increases from 368 to 372 eur plus 5.90 eur postage.

I was going to buy it and would have if it was £315 but at £335 it's much nearer the 821 based OP3T or even an 7 Edge .

I think Prime in the UK is not the same as Prime in Germany or Prime for other countries. Thus the delivery charge + but yes was surprised about it going from euro 368.91 to 372 however still costing me approx £325 on my credit card as I didn't use the amazon conversion which was giving a worse rate. Still about 18% cheaper than the 3T (and would be happy to have both but just need one dual sim and at this stage ZTE ticks the boxes for me). Also ZTE have confirmed would have VIP warranty but would have to be sent to Germany in case needed repairs etc)

Better rate from mastercard today but the price jumped to 413 or 421 eur, lol.

Guess I will pay the extra for an O2 OP 3T so I have a UK sourced phone for warranty.
