Just saw this on a mobile phone site & it looks good, since it's the CHEAPEST NON-IMPORT ANDROID SMARTPHONE I'VE EVER SEEN WITH 1GB RAM, in fact it's the same price as the Huawei Y300, which is my favourite budget phone to date, but this has twice the RAM of the Y300 & a slightly faster processor.
Here are the main other selling points:
∙ 4.0" WVGA TFT display (233 pixels per inch)
∙ Mediatek MT6572 chipset: dual-core 1.3GHz Cortex-A7, Mali-400 GPU, 1GB RAM
∙ 5MP camera
∙ 4GB expandable storage
∙ Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
∙ Slim for a phone in its class, at 125.50 mm x 63.90 mm x 8.90 mm
There are different sources regarding the availability, but the consensus is that it is currently available at Argos (can't see it on their website yet) & will soon be available from Sainsbury's.
Argos offer a replacement within 30 days it it's faulty & Sainsbury's do the same within 28 days. Even though the phone is gonna be available from Virgin Media at some stage, possibly with 20% off for broadband/TV customers, bear in mind their return period for the same is only 14 days. I'm currently having a bit of a battle with them regarding my ZTE Blade V which has had intermittent faults since its purchase.
The Blade V has now gone up to £99.99 on the Virgin Media website (not sure why, would have thought they'd reduce it to compete with the Moto G) which makes the Blade Q Mini even more appealing.
It will, however, be locked to Virgin.
This is the first deal I've ever posted, so hopefully I have lived up to HUKD's standards by writing the words myself & not just listing specs or posting a link from a website!
£10 top up required – so total price is £69.99
