Voted cold, a none battery powered peeler just as good without adding to the mountain of disposable batteries.

This is one of the most ridiculous gadgets ever made. Peels far too thick with hardly anything left of the fruit or veg. The good news, you can use it as a manual peeler without the batteries.

You are better of with a cheap manual peeler, 2 for £1 from poundland.

I bought a couple of these for Xmas presents (for the husbands), they were £8 then. Main grumble (from the wives) is that they're slower than hand peelers.
