I think an exception ought to be made for vouchers personally. since they can be seen as one overall item. if you wanted to sell £100 it wouldn't get locked because it was as 5 x £20 notes. obviously mod's can use their disgresion if they think that you'r a trader. but it's very easy to get several gift vouchers in small denominations.

There were several reasons why your thread was locked as ASB explained in your previous thread

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The message you saw relating to selling a maximum of 2 vouchers would normally be the rule applied to prevent bulk sales. The actual reason recorded (i'll append this to the original thread) is for breach of rule 1 in the FS/FT rules relating to personal trading only.

:
(1) This is for personal trading and selling only. Multi user/connected accounts are NOT permitted in this forum. NO businesses, trader like, businesslike behaviour or services. NO bulk sales of more than two of the SAME items sold separately or together as a 'lot' within a three month period. NO linking to an external business, eBay/Amazon Marketplace store.
Completing surveys with the sole aim of receiving renumeration via a sale on here goes against the spirit of personal trading. Disposing of unwanted gifts would be fine, but by placing yourself in a position of completing surveys for payment effectively means personal gain.

Just to confirm, if you're not already aware. The infraction was handed out for your 2nd listing, which breached no relisting within 7 days rule.

Its Admins site - you've already raised a couple of threads about this and creating more isn't going to change their minds. End of the day if you're not happy to abide by the Mods decisions then there are plenty of other places to sell your vouchers.......the same applies to all members not just those who use FT/FS. I'm not happy with some of the mods decisions but I know I have a choice, accept it or stop posting.

another moaning thread?

I notice you have been banned from trading in vouchers all together......

perhaps you should use the contact us button in future to voice your concerns

I saw someone selling £60 yesterday "1 x £60 or will split 3 x 20" and AFAIK it didn't get locked. Forget the exact details

IMO you were unfairly treated but you could have bided your time and relisted after the 7 days. You have now left yourself permanently unable to trade vouchers and more moaning won't help IMO

just a curiosity but having £50 of m and s vouchers due to a sign up promotion say sky for example and selling them on here would that be classed as business like behaviour or profiteering?

Anyways I couldnt care less about selling vouchers hear it aint a big deal but I just think its a bit much when 1 gets infractions for 1 thing and others dont.
So if I think something is wrong you aint allowed to voice your opinion hear?

You can't sell freebies (under this rule)

(10) You must NOT list items for sale at higher than the recommended retail price. The marker of RRP will be determined by cross indexing with Amazon or other well known retailer. Profiteering is NOT permitted and this includes items previously found at a lower price in the 'Deals' or ANY forum here.
* Vouchers available as non transferable or with next to no resale value, such as 0.001p for example and generally available free items etc. must NOT be offered for sale or trade.

Not sure how that can be any clearer. You didn't pay for them you got them for doing a free survey.

If you see potential listings that look unfair. Report them and a mod will use his/her discretion, you can't assume they are doing things wrong, they may have bought there vouchers fairly.

You voiced your opinnion here, no one has agreed so far, no one said you couldn't, just because people don't agree?

yes, i personally dont agree with the rules of selling gift vouchers, (especially the bulk selling of more than 2 £10 ones) same as i dont agree with not being able to sell things that came as part of a package, etc,etc but they are the rules and we have to abide by them, i do think as long as its under what shops sell for its all good, unless of course it becomes obvious people are buying misprices and selling on

Dude you keep going on about it being from a survey but my thread was locked before I even mentioned that it was from a survey so how is that the reason it wasnt allowed!
If you actually read what was said in the thread you'd see it was locked for bulk selling or something along them lines, £30 worth of vouchers sold together was classed as multiple selling cause there was 3 codes.
Anyways I couldnt care less just get sick of people twisting things.
And for the record I aint gonna report any1 for something that I dont think is wrong or for anything so petty.
This might sound like a mad idea but rather than every1 trying to catch people out over petty things and getting people infractions and bans why dont people actually try and help the person! and fair enough there are alotta real helpful people on this site who genuinly try and help people out but from what ive seen there are an awful lot of members who aint really friendly and must love that report button.

And just for the record is vouchers basically banned from selling now?
Or can you swap a £10 voucher for £10 of paypal? lol
banned#15
Thread closed. We apply FS/FT rules in a fair and consistent manner to all. Personal issues can be taken up via the Contact Us button.

If in any doubt regarding the final question re Paypal, these types of transactions are prohibited and clearly highlighted within the rules at the start of every thread. Reading these prior to submission of a thread should prevent a significant amount of questions from having to be repeatedly raised/answered.
