Now i know you cant edit a 1st post, only add to it, but the idea behind that was to stop posts being edited, now people just say "see next post for items", pretty pointless being unable to edit the 1st post really, the idea was to duplicate the 1st post into the second, not miss the 1st post out all together

What's the question?

when i ask a question im accuse of having a dig at the team, so thought maybe ust a subtle post would work better than saying what i really think

i agree with you sassie  when people post the details & prices in the 2nd post instead these details can be changed which could be deleted or details changed if the seller decides to which is wrong as there would be no record of the orginal if that makes any sense or am i waffling?

Okay?

I just think a thread in Feedback with neither a question or suggestion is pretty redundant.

the suggestion is already in the post for those that want to see it

and as for it being redundant, no more redunant than the ones suggesting things and getting no response

You are right it's pointless to prevent editing of the first post, it would make more sense to only allow the second post for either links or images which aren't allowed in the first post.

Is that what she's trying to say? I thought she was saying it's wrong for them to post the details in the 2nd post rather than the first. I agree with this statement though.

what i am saying is the non editing was made because people where editing their prices, so removal of editing meant they could no longer do this, now they use the second post so pretty pointless having no editing, the second post should be a full duplicate of the 1st post for ease of adding sold, etc,etc

But they should be adding the information and price reduction to the original post....simples!

no because for every time you add to the original post you seen the state it gets into, thats why it was advised to duplicate it to 2nd post, yes you can add price reductions and information to 1st post, but if you have 20 items in one thread, every time one is sold and you add thatto 1st post it ends up that the 1st post is as big as an entire page and looks a mess
