You can't put clickable links in the 1st post.

Think he means the 2nd post, the first post that isn't the OP.

I know it can be done in the 1st reply, but for new users, they don't often know, and it would be nice to be able to add it at a later date at the start of the thread if it has been missed.

I don't think he does to be honest, because if the 1st reply has been taken, then it can't be used.

It would be good if this thread PlayTV from a "1 post wonder" had a deal for the 320GB Harddrive from Tesco as a link in the OP.
There is no way to add it

Why? This site is how old now? people know how to look and have done alright so far, so there is no need for it

Besides Sainty Boy....when has looking after new members been your concern? Your usually just rude to them!

Thats why if you KNOW the question wil be raised you prepare to post the link sharpish or risk someone else posting before you

I like the idea but I think it would be a bit complicated to do... When submitting a deal it is probably a pain to go and find a related url etc?

I just see it as an add on, just like you can choose to add a voucher at the moment.

I often forget about vouchers, but if I (Or a moderator) wanted to add a voucher to a day old deal of mine, it would be possible to do so after the fact, so that it is there in the opening post.

A recent addition to the site is that when a deal expires there is now a list of related deals that are still active (titled "The fire's out on this one").

Would it worth revisiting this suggestion in conjunction with the newly added Feedback thread (below)?
